Took a look at your image's here, predecessor ... namely; "After the Rain".

I have to give this image ... the nudge, in terms of personal preference. Technically, you did a fine job with both.

Your photo here ... and this may not be the most apt descriptor ... is more complete to my eyes.

Good balance between foreground and background, well-balanced composition overall. And, in my humble opinion ... a more judicious and apt DOF was employed on this shot. Marries the concept of your title better with the imagery presented.

Nice tones and good clarity.

Well done.

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us. :o)

p.s. As a bonus to me ... while looking through your gallery, I took note of your other work behind the lens. You have a fine gallery shaping up and I look forward to seeing more from you. Varied subjects ... some fresh takes ... are a good good thing in my books.

Beautifully captured ... I love how you presented it in B & W. Straight to my faves it goes.

Best wide-angle lens? Two steps backward. Look for the 'ah-ha'. Ernest Haas

Very good pic. First, I really like B&W photos as It's somewhat of a lost art. Second, water (whether it be from rain or just a squirt bottle, etc...) adds depths and detail. Good job
