Wow, what an amazing shot. I've only ever seen the nenes waddling around the Haleakala visitor center. To get three of them flying in formation and with such a great background is phenomenal.

These are Canadian Geese right? Or are these something different? They look just like the SNow Geese we see flying overhead in huge formations here in Portland...This is an outstanding shot...sharp, scenic and just beautifuly...verena

Ominous sky, lush greenery and then the birds--what an opportunity well taken.

Yesterday's history. Tomorrow's a mystery. Today's a gift. That's why it's called the present.

Astounding! This is a wonderous shot to explore. I especially like the red flowers offsetting the various shades of green, the rivers running off the cliffs complementing the puffy white clouds, the birds in various flight postures, and the peek-a-boo blue sky. Definitely a fav. Outstanding Jen!

This is awesome. I feel like I'am watching some thing from a fantasy movie. I honour your talent in focusing on the subjects very well and composing this shot nicely. The background with water falls are just amazing.

Wonderful shot, great composure and lighting ... a glorious treat to see geese doing what they do. Every now and then, they go over my house and I listen for their "honking." Glad you shot this so we could enjoy it, too! - Patty

All I can say is WOW. This pik has it all. Composure and lighting. I think that it must set some kind of record for the number of waterfalls in one photo. Not to mention the great shot of the Nene(s).

And every now and then you get a photographer who can make the most of it. Brilliant work Jen, all in focus and no blur despite the fact that this was all about reactions. Faved. Don't know how I missed this one for so long!
