Those flowers are soooo beautiful!!! I love the blue and yellow markings on the top peddals!! Reminds me of peacock feathers. They look great with the black background!
Great work!!
Hi Jen. This is a very charming looking flower. I wonder how can this be aggressive. Maybe its like woman ha ha. Nice work here. Nice composition and focus with good light balance.
You are correct: It chokes out waterways and other life cannot sustain because it hogs the oxygen and sucks up all the nutrients. But it is so beautiful, isn't it? Guess the saying is true...no matter how beautiful...too much of a good thing can be bad..
However: this photo...awesome! It is a perfect beauty of a shot!
Wow. That is indeed gorgeous. One has to really come up with a high scoring winner to stand out from all the flower photos on this website. Congrats. You made it.

Another great shot from your camera Jen! The lighting on this flower is awesome. It is hard to believe that it can kill anything.....I can still admire it on my desktop though, right? Thanks for posting this deadly beauty. It will be enjoyed my be for quite awhile :~)
This macro is just lovely, and you did an excellent job of isolating the subject from any cluttering background. The blueish-purle's offset the white flowers beautifully, and the way the flowers are facing slightly left gives it a coquettish feeling.
Adore these you can see how a butterfly would be attracted to these can't you.. its hard to decide whether the inspect is attraced to the flower or the flower to the inspect amazing...
Great work!!
