A fantastic shot of this bird in motion. Those yellow-orange feet really do stand out & look at that wing spread....Wow! I like this...great work.

What a magnificent shot, Jen. And with a long lens, at that. Really excellent.

Beautiful! Great action shot of a beautiful bird with super clarity. The water is a lovely deep blue and the rippling movement adds to this wonderful image. And I do love his cute yellow boots :)

How wide of a wingspan does this bird have? Nice and different image. I love the rippled effect in the blue blue water!

He's wearing boots so he doesn't get his feet wet...LOL
It's great how you got him in the middle of the pic and with his wings out no less...must have been hard or very lucky!
Great shot!!

A very unique perspective Jennifer. I hope it was able to get airborne with the added weight of its boots.
Really, I like this image and it looks like you were in the right place at just the right time.

Haha awesome shot. His orange feet are very cool! Nice action as well. It's a bit grainy texture-wise, but other than that, superb! =)

Thanks for commenting on my magnolia bloom...I'm really not sure what kind it is. Someone the other day said it was a dogwood?? Maybe that's not even a magnolia then lol. It's right next to a real magnolia tree, so since they bloomed at the same time and the flowers were similar I just assumed...=) O well, they're pretty anyway!
