I can't believe I put the wrong name on this one !!! We didn't know until this time that there was a trail to the bottom. it's muddy and slippery but has a rope you can hang on to (for dear life). previously we had always viewed it from a roadside lookout. i took this while sitting on a rock. i'm looking forward to shooting it again. there's a real problem (for me anyway) of damage to the camera from raindrops, or splash from the falls. i'd like to get in the water (too deep) and photograph it straight on.

Jennifer i think both your posts, san francisco peaks and this one are wounderful, you do great work on and on. Peace and happyness in all ways. Dwight.

The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wind out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.

This is very beautiful & my goodness what you had to go through to get this amazing shot. I like how the tree on the left frames the waterfall. I invested in a good underwater camera (I don't mean the cheap ones). There are many good digital ones out there if you want to spend the $$$$$. I use mine mainly for diving, but it also gets used whenever I am near water (mostly wide angle shots). It can be a drag carrying around two cameras, but has been a life saver from harmful elements, especially saltwater. Well worth it. Jen, excellent work.... I love it.

Hey Jen, this is good. Love that water spray. Appreciate the capture of the framing of the composition on the left by those sharp and colorful green leaves and branches.Thks for taking the trouble to hang from a rope to get this grand capture for us.

Excellent photo, Jennifer. This must be the Waimea Falls on Kauai? Sounds like you had fun getting this.
