I am amazed that they were found just like this side by side and in perfect shape without moss or anything on them. They are beautiful starfish and I love the colored pebbles and rocks surrounding them. This beach must not get any traffic. It would never happen where I live.
Detail detail the beauty is in the detail. Jeenie, i feel like i could reach down and pick them up, nice shot. Peace and happiness in all ways. Dwight.
The emotions, the tears, of wasted years, wash over me like a cold wind out of the north. I tremble and shake, with each breath i take, and there's no one around me that cares. Dwight.
Wow, what are the chances of seeing 2 star fish fossils right next to each other like that. That in its own right is simply amazing and then you taking a awesome shot of them. Beautifully done!! Can you say DESKTOP WALLPAPER !! Sure I knew you could, :) lol because thats where I'm putting this.......Thank you
An amazing capture & a once in a lifetime discovery. Wow, the detail is fantastic. I like how the starfish are surrounded by the colored pebbles. Excellent composition & makes a great desktop. High marks & into my favorties.
Stiking image Jen! What is amazing is that even though they are only remnants of their former glory they are still beautiful. I love this sharp compo. and I always look forward to seeing the places you venture to through your photography.
Thus proving that when humans aren't looking .. the animals and rocks party like its 1999
It's really quite a nice mozaic of flotsam and jetsam ... there's a beach south of San Francisco that is made up entirely of pebbles about the size of a pea or two ... well, it's seen better days, though .. people take the pebbles by the bucket load and over the years have depleted it quite a bit
