A beautiful close-up of this iris.... excellent detail & clarity. I love the yellow color with a spash of white. This makes me so anxious for my flowers to start to blooming. As always, excellent work.

Good one Jen. You captured the interesting shapes of those pedals along with their twists and turns. A solid color flower like this one almost is, makes it a little difficult to pull out the detail but you managed to do it. I might have done one thing that I dont think you did- sharpened it a little bit.

You did good on this one girlfriend! I love the detailed ruffled edges! Irises are a favorite of mine and this one is no exception.....sometimes a bright yellow can be difficult to photograph but you managed it quite nicely.....this went right into my favorites folder on my hard drive and it will run in my screensaver slideshow. Thanks for posting it Jen ~:)
