i was sitting in a boat with a broken motor while the sun went down. we were eventually rescued. sitting there for about 2 hours was peaceful and beautiful and fun. please view full frame.
I love the colors, and that I can see no grain that just jumps out and demands attention and takes away from the image. Just a smooth, flowing sunset...beautiful.
No longer shall I paint interiors with men reading and women knitting. I will paint living people who breathe and feel and suffer and love. [Edvard Munch]
Two hours in a boat and you still got the horizon 'straight'?...This is Stunning Jen...I would stay in that boat 'Every' night if I could get these!!!! hope you had plenty of wine and wedgies! to while away the time!.................
Well, if ya gotta break down, why not some glorious entertainment while your waiting for rescue? Glad you had your camera with you. The suset is beautiful and perfectly rendered. Thks for sharing .

Was that the excuse of the guy sitting next to you in that boat? "Oh, oh Jenni, the motor is gone, we just have to sit and wait...".
Well I gues we have to thanks him for letting you make a 1000 photos of that sunset and pick this one to post!
Great photo!

A great sunset capture. I love the colours and the metallic sky reflections in the foreground. However, that radio mast doesn't add to the picture (IMHO) and is easy enough to remove.
oh .. puh-leeeze .. you musta thrown a fit ... "Harold** .. do something .. we may have to resort to cannibalism" .. **hubby's name is Harold for the sake of the story
Lovely sunset though. At least you got stranded at the right time of day.
