That is a great capture. I love different kinds of photgraphy and your picture captured a thing I probably never would have seen unless someone took the picture namely you. That red bouy really makes the scene and let's not forget our sea loving friends.
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people.

I have always liked seals and sea lions... they know how to relax, and have a good time. BTW there was a story on the news here a few days ago about one that was discovered in a horse paddock! Seems it decided it wanted to take a look around inland... would have been quite a shock to the farmer to find it there, I imagine.
Great capture. Love that red. Now, how did those animals make it up there onto that slippery bouy? I can just picture one of them having sailed right on up there, then not being able to stop and right on off the other side. Funny scenario. The reflection of the red in the water is great and the water itself is so real looking. Nice, all the way around.

You caught them spread langurously sunbathing I suppose. Adorable lions. And I like off the center composition with the blue waters surrounding the red bouy. Where did you find it?
How wonderful and original! I was deliciously surprised when I saw this. Wonderful colors, great animals. I still wonder how they got on that bouy. Great capture. :)
Where was this photographed?
As a longtime resident of SFO, I have seen the grace that these creatures have despite their size. It is really amazing to see a hulking animal get onto a small platform with so much ease!!! Great shot.
Look to the Future, Remeber the Past, but Live in the Present, and Never forget to tell those you love "I Love You", you may not get another chance.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:: Never hold your farts in. They travel up your spine, into your brain, and THAT is where shitty ideas come from!!
yeah .. good question .. how do they get up there .. I went river rafting on the American River (east of sacramento, ca.) and the guide said now is a good time to jump out and float down 'free form' ... so I did ... It was all I could do to get back in the raft with everybody pulling at me
Hi Jen,
I'm way behind with Caedes, but I couldn't resist telling you how much I like this little group (I think there are 4 of them)on the bouy. Great composition and color and just a fun subject.
