i went down to see the boat this morning after about a 3 hour rain. the clouds were great, the waterfalls were falling and the flowers looked beautiful. i was going to crop this but decided against it..
Not until the creation and maintenance of decent conditions of life for all men are recognized and accepted as a common obligation of all men . . . shall we . . . be able to speak of mankind as civilized.

Great color and contrast. I might have been tempted to crop slightly, solely to increase the relative size of the flower in the frame. Like Dwight says, I can feel the damp .... Cheers! - Dave
Too beautiful. I love a flower with dew drops. You've captured this well with good lighting to highlight the subject and maintain great contrast with the dark leafy background. It's absoutely stunning. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people.

Very pretty capture Jen. The flower looks spectacular against the natural dark green background. It provides lovely contrast. The dampness adds that something special tot he image. I like the feel of the entire shot....there Isa "feel" to it. I am not sure that I would have cropped this before posting. I think you did good! Thanks for sharing this with us :~)
This is a real beauty Jen. I think you were smart not to crop it because of the lovely contrast with the yellow and green. It's a perfect capture and thanks for sharing this today. Anita
Very pretty, this look so wet and fresh. I love the green. Here in Iowa we've got a nice old drought going....everything is dry, dusty, and in various shades of greenish brown and yellow. I could look at this photo all day....
