This is absolutely Stunning Jen!....Is this the train ride across Canada?....if so...It has always been my dream holiday!....If there is anything I want to do out of this life afore I 'pop' it!.....It is a Ride from coast to coast across here!....stopping off at places all along the journey!...thank you for the opportunity to view this!.....if landscapes are all like this! then I will definetly make the effort?
Hi Jen, I am back and just checked your gallery from last week - this one is absolutely stunning - 10/10 without a doubt! It has a lot of wonderful qualities - the mountains, the foreground, the lake with its reflection and the low misty cloud! I can't think of a thing to improve. You should be very proud of it! Patti

Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Thanks to all who comment on pictures in my gallery. Please accept my apologies if I am unable to thank you each time, and please don't feel obligated to thank me for my comments.

The only ten in the booth tonight Jen. Wow. Where shall I start? How often does one shoot low clouds and find a crystal clear mountain behind it? This is an absolutley breathtaking image. You achieved perfection - composition, color, clarity, subject, interest, mystery, depth, shall I go on? Wow. Did I say that already. Wow. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Still a bit busy with projects but please know that I appreciate you all, and will stop by and visit your images as often as I can. My best to all my friends.
Sincerely,
Carrie
I think congratulations are in order. I don't believe I have seen an image that has scored as well as this one did. You should be very proud because, although you have some wonderful images, this one has surpassed the rest for quality.
I think this shot is worth looking. Since its captured with great care I will comment a little more about the exposure and the atmosphere. I feel like you have used a inaccurate metering method in this one or the lighting condition was not perfect. Leaving the forground in dark is damaging the quality of this image big time. And the fog which seems to be moving is not possitioned correctly. The real drama is when the fog runs lower to the ground and water and there will be more of the mountains visible. It will give better reflections too. And why not give this a little saturation boost too. It deserves it. Apart from those points this image is a real eye catcher and a proofe of your talent. Well done.
All the things you did right technically have already been mentioned so here's just a congrats from me on a most superb capture...and a big thank you from a Canadian who has never been in this area but appreciates this opportunity through your beautiful representation.:Pat.
Woah that is totally amazing. Its hard to believe such beautiful places exist. You only see that kind of thing in films! I think Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. I never tire of looking at pictures and my one and only trip haunts to Canada haunts me. I cant wait to return. Hopefully for good! This is an amazing picture and the clarity and beauty just transports me back. Thanks so much!

Love this shot. I spent 6 months living in Canada last year, and had a drive along the Icefield Parkway from Banff to Jasper. The most beautiful place Ive ever been too, absolutley recommended to anyone. This picture just brings all the memories back, Stunning!! Good Job.
As I was perusing the permanent gallery Jen, I came across this beauty! I don't know how I missed it when you posted it, but I am sure glad I have found it now! I love the natural frame with the fir trees. The reflection of that azure sky in the water is breathtakingly beautiful. The mist that is laying quietly at the foot of the mountain gives this image a surreal feel to it! With that majestic mountain rising up in the background, well, it leaves me dreaming of seeing this in person one day. Very well done my friend, good colors, good, clarity, high contrast and spot on composition. Thank you for sharing this with me ;=)To my favorites it goes.
I love this photo - makes me ache for the mountains again. My wife and I are planning a trip up to Jasper and environs this summer. Thanks for the teaser!
