What a beautiful capture Jen! I love the how the petals and the centers of the flowers provide such an awesome contrast. At the same time, they are quite delicate appearing and seem to fill my desktop with pale pink beauty and softness. Hope you don't mind if these bloom in my favorite's folder for awhile. They are going to look mighty fine to me in the dead of winter with snow on the ground and no sunshine outside! Thanks for sharing them with me :~)

The colors are stunning here Jen and photographed just perfectly. I'm particularly attracted to the center of the flowers and how that inner green interacts with the green leaves.
Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

Not until the creation and maintenance of decent conditions of life for all men are recognized and accepted as a common obligation of all men . . . shall we . . . be able to speak of mankind as civilized.

The unusual color of these flowers really drives this composition. The center one especially stands out, as it should, with it's clear sharp center. Beautiful arrangement.

Oh what can I add that lets you know in a unique way that I love this presentment so much. I wish I knew what the flowers were, so I could try to grow them myself. This whole post has such a taste of the old-fashioned, and I think it may be the colors of the flowers that look as though a master brushed the soft pink and ivory on the petals and then changed with a subtle switch to the yellows that blend down into the distinctive green, bursting out with the orange of the stamens, then carefully cradling them so well with the protective leaves that create a snug bed for them. That in itself is a very comforting aspect..that the flowers are doing well within the confines of what nature has provided for them. Of course we couldn't see any of that without your composition and how nicely they're arranged from the bottom right swinging around to the left and then angling up again to the right with perfect placement. Or it may be just the way you highlighted them with the glowing light that could easily transform them into a classic painting, one that could be hung on an art gallery wall with confidence. :)PJ
Very pretty. I like the soft colors and the ruffled textures of these flowers. It is a bit frustrating not to know their name, but they are beautiful nonetheless.
YES, I still love you...YES...I am still your friend...YES...I care about your work...*sigh* I have just been incredibly busy and have little time to be on Caedes lately...
Great image. I love the colors and the way you composed the picture. This will certainly be a favorite to many.
Well done.
