Ah love the wonderful layering in this canyon. Also noticed down towards the bottom of the rock you can see where there was once a disruption of sorts in the Earth thousands of years ago, like how you can see where there was once a fire by studying an old trees rings. Thanks for sharing this ;)

Can't always give individual thanks but I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and input. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Another great shot in the desert Jen. You have such an eye for a good photo. Nice detail in the rock formations and the sunlight filtering through is very effective. anne :-)
Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)
Well done Jen. I guess the available light was not enough to do the job. Well you can try some boosting later on any way and I dont think much grain will appear.

This just came up on 'featured' Jen and I have to comment. It's not only one of the places I dream about being able to photograph but you really did it justice. An oldy but goody.
