jen, this is striking, absolutely striking. What a great capture from a plane. There is just the right amount of clouds interspersed over the terrain. I guess Digi identified what mountain it was. Super shot my friend.

I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
Great shoot! If you took it a few minutes before landing, then its Mt. Olympia. Its 7000 feet tall. I was in Seattle in September. It was too smoggy to get this wonderful shot.
Supreme! I fly back and forth between Spokane and Seattle for work, so I am passing Mt. Baker, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier all the time -- and I never tire of their majesty. A plane window is really a spectacular way to see these mountains, though it is unusual to secure a capture of this quality. It's just cloudy enough to extend the depth and provide a colorful setting. Great work.

Hey, this is the first time I've seen this photo. It was on the front page of caedes today. I thought at first it was Mt Rainier, then ok figured it was another one, but still am not sure which one it is. I mean, sheesh, I live outside of Portland and I should know which it is..I'll try to find out. HOw wonderful you were able to get this wonderful view from the plane.. It's so gorgeous with the clouds between YOU and the Mountain. Wow...V
