Jen, the COLOURS are absolutely beautiful in this glade - a landscape painter's ideal reference pic!! I love how you've caught the reflection of the Quin. Gold trees in the water and framed them with those Potter's Pink rocks and Payne's Grey background trees... well, what else can one say, my dear but 10/10, a keeper, and just gorgeous!!
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

My Gallery
A place of quiet and serenity (where is it?). Very well captured with clarity and wonderful dark colors Jen. Terrific job and so glad you sent it to us.
I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

CITIZENS of our world, check my website for a riveting, informational video that concerns all of you and the future of our globe. You will be flabbergasted, annoyed, distressed, in disbelief, but you will have been made aware of the WARNINGS. See this film. It gets better as it goes along, but will have your attention from the first quote.
Oh wow, this makes me want to pack my bags and head off for a visit. This looks like a fun place as there are so many images within this one and I'm sure there are plenty more close by.
Jen, where is this place?
This is very definitely a keeper. Straight into my favorites and on my desktop today.
Oh, and by the way, there is nothing wrong with your white balance. As there is no direct sunlight on the object the light source is the sky and guess what, it's blue. Therefore everything will have that blueish cast. All thanks to Mother Nature and not the camera, settings or the photographer.
I think in todays' setting we place to much emphasis on what technology can do for us that we forget that that's just the way things are. We are getting to lazy and hoping that the camera will overcome the true effects of Mother Nature and in doing so we forget how to be true photographers and we loose to much photographic control.
Hi, what a great photo, the reflection is perfect and i can feel the evening air and smell the forest. Wish i could press a button and just be there with my Bivvi, sleeping bag and stove, Well done.
