this fine friend joins me in quacking a "happy holiday to uou" for tomorrow. he's very happy that he's not the dinner. thanks for any comments you might have.
Nice reflections in the water and it's really clear to see his web feet ;) He's a beautiful color and perfectly clear. Very well done Jen and happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well. Anita
I'm way behind so forgive me for not commening on your individual posts but know that I've looked at all of them since I left. I truly enjoy seeing all of your posts and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks, Anita
That is really great and that is certainly an interesting shadow that fellow is casting. It is so clear and appealing to me. Happy Thanksgiving and eat more turkey.:)
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

But this is NOT a Turkey?......I thought it was for all turkey's this holiday!...no wonder there's a shortage at Xmas!.......Good on yer to get this little beauty!...nice colour capture too...The water reflects gives it a kinda peaceful setting!...
I've gotten behind in my comments again but I want to take time to acknowledge this fine image and to thank you for bringing it to us. I think this is a very good image and I've enjoyed viewing it. Have a happy holiday season.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Judging from the drip coming off his beak, I'd say that he's the one who's probably just had a snack of some sort...something more to fatten him up for the holiday table :( actually, he's too cute to eat, and I think that if I had to go out and kill the meat I consume, I'd probably become a vegetarian. Lovely post and I think it deserves more than the paltry 51 c index that is registering right now. I hope I meet him in the voting booth :)PJ
Jen, dear friend,
I watch this princess here and try to learn how to photograph my most favourite birds from you !!!
This is by far the best female duck shot I have ever seen !!!!
Thanks and congratulations !!!!
