you're seeing another shot of one of the beaches on the south shore of kauai. this beach is one where monk seals can occasionally be found lolling on the beach. they crawl? wiggle? drag themselves? onto the beach and rest until they are ready to leave. no one is allowed to approach them. they are VERY protected. enjoy! thanks for any comments or suggestions.

great picture, love the way how the sun is playing through the trees on the beach and then the white and bleu of the sea makes a great contrast between everything, well done

What? No Christmas seals? A great shot, all the elements are there and I love the shadows. Nice work.

Another one of your masterpieces...I can't remember a time when I've viewed a photo of a sea scene that actually has this sharp example of perspective. It's amazing. I feel like I'm falling right into the scene !! There's so much going on here..the sky is salted with the clouds that can even be clearly viewed all the way off into the distance...the water is its own unique color, contrasting but complimenting the sky..the foamy heads of the waves spreading all over the sand...don't get me started on that sand with the shadow play. Amazing...you've got it all, girl :)PJ

My interest is on the sky and the clouds. They are very dramatic and showing a great distance and deapth.

I love the shadow of that large tree. That's where I sit on the beach, in the shade. The sun does strange things to my skin. Beautiful beach.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

J'aime l'angle sur lequel on voit l'étendue d'eau...on dirait que l'on peut percevoir que la terre est ronde,,,,Super shot

You know I saved this one. Beautiful water and I love that beach. The angle you have chosen here is really unique. It litterly pulls me into the image. I sure don't like the title though. It just doesn't fit.

What a nice perspective you have showed us! I like the shadows in the foreground, they make you follow the clouds deep in the direction of the open sea and concentrate on the things that are going on in the distance. Wish I were here!
