As if the colors and detail of the rock face weren't enough, you had to also get an abundance of wildflowers in there! What could make this more perfect?

Jennifer, now this is my kind of image. I gave it a 10 only because I couldn't give it a 20. (I'm trying to bribe you, you see) when can we go and you can show me this lovely area.

Perfect job, no flaws, this one goes into my favorites gallery and on my desktop today.

A pretty shot, nice colors. Looks similar to some of the hillsides here. Nice work.

I love the vegetation in this one and the beautiful blue sky. Of course, those cliffs are just wonderful to look at too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

okay...I've got my flyfishing gear all ready and I just have to find my waders. I know the fishing is great on the Colorado River...lol..what an marvelous capture. There's nothing like the desert for wild flowers and all that abundance of gorgeous red rock. This is a marvelous place to be and thank you for taking us there :)PJ

I would be hard pressed to determine which I like better, your images of Hawaii or of AZ. You keep knocking me over with both. This is beautiful and a keeper.

Hi my friend. This is a familiar spot for me. Once upon a time, I worked at the Grand Canyon North Rim as a tour bus driver. Twice weekly, I would bring a group of tourists down to Page and drop them off at the base of the dam for a 1 day Colorado River float trip down to Lee's Ferry. While they were doing that I'd hang out in Page or go swimming in Lake Powell, then head down to Lee's Ferry to pick them up and take them back to the North Rim. Thanks for sharing this photo. It brings back pleasant memories for me.
