this rose is to honor those of you nice enough to wish me a happy birthday, to all of you who try hard to produce beauty and especially to you, cindy who let the bird out.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

This is really beautiful Jen. I love the dark greens surround the deep red. Excellent composition and clarity as well. A keeper for sure. Thanks and hope you had a happy birthday and will have a nice V-Day.
Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita
So sorry to have missed your birthday a couple of weeks ago, Jen. Hope it was a good one!
Saw your beautiful red rose in the VB a short while ago and gave it high marks. Great composition and I like how the flower [you] is flanked by the 2 rosebuds [your own family & your Caedesian family, perhaps?]. Not sure where the 3rd bud fits in!
Also you are to be congratulated on this superb image. It's a real beauty of an image.
