Very Very nice capture, with very nic colours. Is the blue real? It looks so, but I think it is unusual that you find this kind of blue on rocks:)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Wow - fantastic view and great colors. The blues seem a bit too punched to me, but then again I love vibrant color so it works for me.

This is truly one of the best photos I've seen of the Grand Canyon! I like the tree...that just makes this photo wonderful. There is really blue like this on these rocks? wow!! I imagine it is a bit 'overwhelming' to us "little people" lol...just so magical, that place, I dont think I could go there, I have a bad fear of high places...but I love seeing the photos like yours..keep 'em comin my friend.....verena

Good heavens! Is there any color that is not present in this image? Gorgeopus. And, what a view. it is so realistic I get dizzy if I look at the image for very long. Wow! A C-index of 71? Deserves far more than that. Well done.

I agree with Pat...it deserves more than that on the index, but I've about given up on that as a guidepost anyway. I love this rendition and presentation of the Grand Canyon. I used to live in Flagstaff and we went up there regularly..especially when my Dad was entertaining friends. It was/is always different and refreshing to see it, and by all means hike down. We went down on mules...don't know if they have them anymore, and reached the bottom...it was the going back up that had me doing the heeebiejeebbies...LOL...great shot.

Super shot, and I like the high saturation, although I agree the blue is perhaps a bit much. Great composition especially with the vegetation in the foreground. There is a lot more to the Canyon than just rocks!

It is a fabulous view indeed.
But to honest, I don't like the colors in this one. It's too much for me.
Of course it could also be that I am just yealous...
