the nile, at this point, has little islands, lots of rocks and lots of whirlpools. it's a place where you want to take a dip. i was totally taken with the dunes which stretch for miles along the river. thanks for your comments.

You made it! Wonderful clarity and contrasts, Jen. I know we're in for some great stuff now!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

What a cool shot Jen.
I've been in that part of the world, and it is pretty awsome for photography.

Beautiful depth to this shot. I like that this shot is not something you'd see in a tourist brochure. I look forward to more, thanks.

This is a great photo! I love the colours and the contrast between the water, trees and sand. My only suggestion would be to try and remove the truck/tent (I'm not sure it if that is what it is) from the photo. Still wonderful though, thanks for posting.

We all ought to get together and set up a fund for your trips so you could many more of them...send you to every reach of the world. These are great and I can't wait to see more of what you and that camera find.

Hi Jen, I recognise this spot. Isn't it down near Aswan? Again, lovely colour and contrast with the sky.

Cheers! Ray.

Except for the palm trees peeking through this could be somewhere in the Southwestern US. Great shot. Looks like a swell place for a dip.

I'm very far behind in my comments due to some recent family issues so please forgive this generic comment. I have viewed this image and found it to be very good. I didn't want to pass it by with out mentioning it's beauty. Thank you for sharing it with us. You have created a very beautiful image and I envy your talent. I hope to view more of your work and give a more personal comment in the near future. Your images are awsome.
