i've spent the last week in richmond and washington. the "stars" of the moment are the magnificent cherry blossoms. here's a sprig for you to enjoy! thanks in advance for any comments (which are definitely not necessary!).

Oh cool. I like the stark, clear of clutter display of the branch and blooms. Very pretty. it's a keeper.

Excellent quality photography here! Beautiful blooms. I've never gone to DC to see the blossoms though I lived 3 miles away for 3 years! Go figure. So that's what they look like up close.

This is a convincer. I need to go see that most glorious of sights...cherry blossom time. It's amazing that such a large flower is needed to produce such a small fruit. Thanks for this view. It's nice to look at things from a different perspective once in a while.

Lovely capture Jen, of the most beautiful cherry blossom I've ever seen. My word, it's enormous! Each bloom looks like a mini carnation. Excellent contrast and as sharp as a needle. Superb!
