Lovely image and the last before I trot off to bed...a woman should be so lucky? I wish I could see this full sized on my monitors, but it may be a couple of days before that happens..thanks for the lovely view and in my faves here.
I won't be uploading images until my computer comes out of its sudden coma, as I am commenting using a shared machine that doesn't have PhotoShop or my images on it. :(
I found a beautiful bloom just opening while mowing my mother-in-laws yard and when I returned the next morning with a camera it looked like this bloom. They don't seem to last very long. A fine capture of this large bloom.

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Beautifully taken yet again...but that is your trademark when it comes to flower photos, you are so excellent at them! This one is no exception...simply marvelous!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I cant even begin to imagine how you were able to be "at the right spot at the right time" to get these stamens laying so gently on the petals!! Just magnificient!!!!!I just wonder if I could ever even dream of doing a canvas painting of this, but the whole series would be fantastic..maybe on a bit smaller canvases...all lined up in a row..wow..I can see it now..hehe..V
