Wonderful deep colorations and the penguin is such a little guy or those boulders are homongous. Such a pretty shot. I'm glad the penguin was there and glad you were there too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Wonderful variety of colors--the pinkish sand and the azure and emerald waves. And that penguin has it all to himself.

I know I'll just be repeating some of the well-deserved comments you've gotten on this shot, but the colors are what knocked my eyes out. An absolutely alluring place :)

I previously commented, but saw your 'request for comment'. After re-looking at the image I still really like it...perhaps there's too much foreground, that'd be my only thing.

Agree with Randy's comment. On my monitor, the sand seems a little pink. Was it the real color?

Awesome Pic, I live in Cape Town and I've been to Boulders once or twice, it's a truly amazing place, it's bigger than what you see here and the water is a clear blue - you can see right to the bottom if you swim there. I think they've since disallowed swimming since the happy feet moved in, but I remember from when I was younger, if you swim out a bit, almost to the end of the light blue water, you can see fish swimming under you (and sometimes the odd jellyfish) - there are even some caves if you swim under some of the larger rocks. A truly majestic place and you've captured it well, if any of you are ever in Cape Town go visit it.
