I guess that Mother Nature in her wisdom has made the female the less attractive to the eye of the hunter than the male so that the species can flourish under the nurturing care of the female. Handsome fellow and a wonderful capture. There's more than meets the eye here !

Isn't he lovely?! He looks just wonderful against the golden grass background. He looks contented with the big smile on his face and you've just got to love those horns! Great shot, Jen. Thanks for the location.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Jen, if he could talk, think he would say: "What you're doing there, please leave my territory", as he looks very proud.
Wonderful image again and I agree for 100% what Owd Bob said above: a wonderful series! Regards, Cornelius
