Wow! Would you look at that! You didn't take this shot from a hot air balloon, I can tell you that! This is such a wild and amazing view, Jen! It almost looks like a volcano. Boy, do you get around my lady!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Super view of the mountain. You can really see the lava flows and glaciers in a very different way than when you are on the ground. Cool that you caught that little lenticular cloud above the peak as well.
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Boy Howdy, you'd better be glad that ole Digi isn't here to see this one. He might explode inside that suit of his, or turn from blue to green. I don't now how you manage all the traveling you do, but what exciting pictures you get...Of course this is saved and faved, and I so hope I get it in the voting booth, although I would be shocked and dismayed if this didn't go far...sky's the limit, right?
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
This is quite the angle Jen! Having seen Mt Rainier from the ground, it is pretty cool to see it from the air! The snow looks like frosting on a warm cupcake. Good angle. The vignetting from the angle of your camera against the window works really well with this shot. This is in my favorites and on my harddrive. Thanks for sharing it with me ;=)
I have a few similar shots of Mt. Hood snagged on take off or landing. The really sad thing about this amazing great shot is to see how very much the glaciers have shrunk due to global warming. They use to almost completely cover the mountain, even in the summer (when this shot was obvious snapped). Great work, though.
