Jen. this image was earlier announced in my friends list, but I couldn't find it. But now it's still there. Glad I didn't miss this image. Not only the red rocks are eye-catching but the cloudy sky as well. Thanks for this wonderful post. Regards, Cornelius.
This is a lovely picture. It's such a dramatic landscape. It takes me right back 35 years to when I was in my Upper 6th year at school (I think it's your Senior year at High School.) studying Slope Development in Geography, which was anew theory then. Thanks.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
I love the balance in here between the sky and the mountains/rocks. Neither one is overpowering the other. This is one of the nicest perspectives on this type of landscape that I can remember seeing in quite a while.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Gosh I love how those rock formations show up against that gorgeous sky! And then the deep green texture of the shrubs, very nice. Bravo my friend!! Lovely colours for sure! Verena
