Wow, what a picture and I get to comment first. Colors are so clear and varied that they seem to grab my eyes. I think you caught the man upstairs arranging the perfect photo opt for you. You didn't disappoint. No wonder John Ford and John Wayne kept going back to the desert. This picture is so captivating that it's almost reverent. To the favorites and the desktop. Great post.

I love Sedona, and you've captured it exactly the way I remember it. Thanks so much for this lovely postcard from one of my most loved places on earth. I couldn't have sent out a better photographer to capture not only the beauty, but the essence of this most magical of spots...FAVED and on my DESKTOP...top of your form, my dear!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon

*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.

Oh, what beautiful depth and great color on this one, Jen. Such grandeur and you have shot it so well. To me this is the epitome of South Western, US. I find it interesting that there is really so much greenery here too. Another great shot.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
