What a lovely vista. I really like the yellow leaved trees mixed with green pine or firs. The mountain in back looks like it's enjoying the changing scene below. You must do a lot of travelling judging from all the varied places you take photos. I really enjoy your posts. Thanks for sharing.

"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Very vivid and precise. The trees seem to have lined up in rows so you could shoot a group portrait of them. lol I love the mountains in the background. They remind me of the Blue Ridge Mtns.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Now this is just Gorgeous Jen!..such a lovely vista of colour!...the changing colours on those trees are a beauty in itself..but the whole image is excellent!
*You will have noticed that I haven't been commenting as much on your fine images!..This is because of the pains in my hands!..the constant use of the keyboard, makes this difficult..so, my dear friends..I can only apologise to you all in advance!*

What a good picture!
And to think I passed trough flagstaff in 1993!
Well I guess I had other things on my mind than taking a photograph at the time.
Thanks for the memory!

Hi Jen! I was searching for a nice Fall landscape for my desktop few days ago and I chose this one, without even looking at the name of the author. Now, when I was browsing your gallery I found it’s yours! A very marvelous piece of work! I especially like the layers of colors in the composition – very sophisticated effect!
