Wow! This is a spectacular picture. I love everything in it, from the grass in the sand, to the cliffs and that gorgeous cloudy sky. I gotta fave this one.
Part of the joy of your photos is never knowing where in the world you'll be when you take the next one to post for us. lol
This is a magnificent landscape shot, Jen. Everything just comes together for this image starting with the position of your lens when you took it. Wonderful sky, great ocean activity and stunning cliffs conspire to make this an excellent capture.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

"Once there were brook trout...standing in the amber current...polished and torsional..on their backs were vermiculate patterns that were maps of the world in its becoming. Of a thing which could not be put back. Not be made right again." Cormac MCarthy

Hey there...I wish I had known you were here..I would have met you and had coffee or tea!! This is my MOST favorite beach in ORegon!! I am surprised that none of the storm damage showed up in this photo. I mean this area had 119 mph winds!! I have always loved this mountain, and am glad you took such a great photo of it..Verena
