it was very dark when this was taken. i loved the movement of the herd. notice the dust kicked up by the baby. i don't know where they were headed but there were a lot of them and they were in a hurry. enjoy! thanks in advance for any comments (but only if you want to comment.....no problem if you don't) several of you thought this was black and white. it isn't.

I think they're heading to town to watch Jungle Book III. Either that or Jimmy Carter (peanuts) is visiting. I like it with the b/w tones. I imagine that little feller is getting all choked up. Nice photo Jen.

Excellent Jen!!!! Think you'll see this only once in your life.
Most impressive. It seems to be that 'baby' is protected bij the adults. It wouln't surprise me, as their social standards are pretty high.

So where is Tarzan? The B&W makes me think of the old movies. Very nice shot from one of your world travels.

I love that the baby is in the middle being protected by the surrounding adults. Makes you wonder where they are heading. I love this shot. Elephants are such fascinating animals. Great take on the movement, Jen.
