Now I know where the saddle back shoes came from. I like to think this stork delivered me as opposed to the member of the stork family bird Eggray posted. Good post Jen.

I like it very much. How great that bird is. Ir is a very elegant tropical looking stork. Good composition and really delicate background. many thanks for sharing such beautiful shots from your trip to Africa.

That is a most remarkable picture of that stork. I have never seen one before, either. It looks like it has a ducks head and bill, with a big long beak underneath the bill. Very interesting. Super shot, Jen.

Looks like he turned about and waited for you to snap his picture. What a lovely bird he is too. It amazes me that those thin, spindly legs can hold all of him up. What a marvel.
