What a beautifully composed photo. Like I've told you before I feel like I'm in the middle of a John Ford western. I should coming riding on the scene any moment heading for the mountains. The Indians are hot on my trail. Get ready for some dust. Great colors. Just to beautiful for words Jen.
Wow! Thia is spectacular. The perspective is really excellent and the lines and shapes are really nice and also contrasty. This image gives us a good idea of the vastness of the terrain. Beautiful!

Dang Girl you gonna have to go get yer self a job as a one of them der picture takers for those fancey things they call magazines and such.....lol Well done!!
When I look at this photo only one question comes to mind: are you still "just a very frustrated photographer"?
You see, if so, maybe you want to trade places with me, so I'll go to all those magical places and you...., you can sit in my backyard and watch the grass grow.
Anyway, here is another winner! Well done, the light and colors are magnificent and so is the landscape.
Did you use the 5D on this trip?
Paul
What a unique feeling that comes from this photo! The softness of the grasses in the front sets the stage of texture to the rocks in the background...and then to top off the whole thing, that gorgeous bloo sky! Soft and yet dramatic. Thank you for a most lovely photo composition. Verena
