About the color not being right: there is only one way to fix that perfectly. Shoot RAW and proces your Canon file in Digital Photo Proffessional.
Select white Balance Adjustement -> Color Temperature.
A slider pops up, allowing you to change the color temperature. Now you WILL get the exact desired result.
Try it and amaze us next time Miss Jeenie!

Fabulous landscape, Jen. Can you walk all over there? I think I'd want to explore the area more, but I might twist my ankle. The SW is really beautiful.
I think Jim Bobtail meant MOO HOO. Very nice Jen and I think the colors are fine. The sky is fabulous. Was it somewhat more red to the eye to you? I wonder what you were after because you weren't satisfied with color. Ford and Wayne ride off in awe of you.
