You sure fooled me with the title. I thought it was going to be a classic car or something. This flower really fill the screen. What a beauty, and the detail and color is top notch. Fantastic, Jen.

Looks like a full blown hemi, Jen. What does it turn in a quarter? Probably every head in town. Great job, even if it's not street ready.

If road apples were used as fertilizer, then there is no telling how much horsepower this baby has. Great post Jen. It looks good on the showroom floor.

LOL@Tick's remarks..I don't know how he does it.

I am contemplating another new macro lens, and if you would, please, tell me which one you used here?

Thanks and a great shot, obviously.

You did, I was wondering what I was going to see! Great title and a very very effective image. It's so intricately patterned and such a beautiful soft colour.

Excellent capture of the beauty of the magnolia that few ever see. Since I am a Magnolia lover :), I watch these blossoms. Your attention to the detail is sweet as is the softness of the bloom, yet the clarity is superb. You do a wonderful job of presenting these creamy white flowers to me...many thanks for sharing and right to my favorites it goes. :=)

There is something so pristine and pure about these white magnolias. I can understand your fascination with them, Jen.
The petals are so smooth and lovely and the forms they assume are graceful. A very beautiful image, so well done. Yes, please tell which lens you used for this shot. :)

You are highlighting a part of the magnolia that I think is sometimes overlooked... the center, with what must be premature petals (or having petal DNA, maybe...my lack of knowledge is obvious) in a oddly non-symmetrical pattern (unlike, say, the center of a sunflower which forms two spirals). Beautiful picture! I never get tired of magnolia pics.
