Absolutely gorgeous! Love the detail. Looks like the flower has hands lifted in praise to God.

Such lovely shading, Jen. These flowers speak of peacefulness in their grace. I always take delight in the intricacy of the center that reminds me of a tiny pineapple. What wonderous form they display. No wonder the petals lift up in praise of their creator. Wonderfully inspired image, dear lady.

They are both great. This one maybe a little brighter but both have heavenly qualities. Two great posts Jen.

I agree with Tick, they are both just absolutely GORGEOUS. Love the lighting which shows great detail of this delicate post. Great work again

The composition here works (for me) a bit better twofold. Besides the fact that the flower has some "breathing room", the added touoch of the leaves under the petals adds to the dimension of the shot.

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

A soft and delicate image. I agree the inclusion of the leaves has given it the push over the top. Well done.

Both good pictures Jen but I prefer this one. The beautiful flower has more room to breathe and the deep green of the leaves is a wonderful contrast. I love the little patch of sunlight just on one petal.

Hi Jen...I prefer this shot...the glossy green leaves provide a backdrop that is perfect for this blossom. I so love magnolias and look forward to your posting of them each year.
Good work Jen. The lighting is so right for this capture.
To my favorites this goes to bloom for a very long time.
Many thanks for sharing this with me :=)
