A beautiful garden Jen. I can see why you like the brick sidewalk ... it is very striking & contrasts so nicely with the surroundings. I love the detail on the arch too. Wonderful capture.

Best wide-angle lens? Two steps backward. Look for the 'ah-ha'. Ernest Haas

Just a gorgeous shot I really like the walk and the whole scene. I especially like the tree on the right. It looks like a sign and it trying to get you to take the path on the right. Colors make it obvious it is a rainy day. Excellent post.

A wonderful setting for a shot, Jen, and the rain soaked park looks wonderful with nice contrasts and subtle lighting.

That's one heck of a big back garden you've got there Jen. LOL! I also love the brick path and arch. It leads your eye through the image wonderfully.

The advantage of rain in this garden is that it has created both wonderful colours and a special atmosphere. Very good post Jen.

Aren't you the brave soul, taking your camera out for a walk in the rain with yourself! It's great, Jen. Inspired, I'd say :)
