Ah, the ever-controversial, yet gorgeous Oregon coast. I have a few from last summer that are threatening to riot if I don't post them, so you may have given me some inspiration with this fine upload, my friend.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Beautiful Jen. Is that Haystack in the background? The title sounds like the opening line in a novel. You have posted a novella for the eyes with this one. Great use of light.
This is a beautiful scene and the sand and the cliffs look great, but on my monitor there seems to be a lot of noise in the sky and even on the distant hills. Not something I usually see in your photos.
Looks like a wonderful painting by an American artist, but I can't think of who it is. Winslow Homer, perhaps. Beautiful lighting and very fine composition.
Jen, you are too modest - this shot is a stunner. Yes, it has a glow but it has so much else besides. Great interest, wonderful "old master" shades and a huge expansiveness. A "10" from me, if it comes up in the VB.
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
Such a magnificent scene with the crashing waves, to me it's very peaceful listening to the water. Gorgeous beach and sure would love to walk on that Jen
