such a regal looking critter. i took this from a moving boat. the orange thing is part of a channel marker (i think). in a group like caedes with so many good bird photographers, it's almost scary to upload one of mine. thanks for any comments. ENJOY!

I think it is the Eagle, Osprey and Vulture that we are not to eat. It is beautiful but doesn't look like a Col. Sanders chicken. lol Nice post Jen.

I haven't seen too many osprey up this close. I find it remarkable that it would build a nest right on that marker. Lots of detail for being far away as I'm sure you must have been when you got him in your sights. His eye is very sharp as I'm sure his talons and beak must be too.
