The wall follows the line of trees too!...

A Castle I have never visited...but will put on my list of 'places to visit afore I pop-off'!

Gorgeous scenery too

A lovely mix of light, shadows, line and colour. You are right that the wall is a great feature of this image.

Read in Owd Bob's comment above that he has never visited this castle. The reason is quite simple to me as I don't see any bench, suitable for doing an open air nap, in the vicinity, lol.
Great scenery Jen. Just love it.

Sometimes I think that New England should have been named New Scotland...lol.... This looks like it could be a scene from here!

Great photographic work, Jen.

Every time I see the word Balmoral, or hear it, I immediately think of Princess Diana. Outstanding scene you have here, Jen. I love those stone walls. Excellent colors, lighting, and sky.

I went to Knocksberry Farm once in California. Just kidding Jen. Great looking shot and the wall with the opposite path looks like it should be part of a golf course. Beautiful post.

Love the clear focus from back to front. The tree shadows cast a pretty pattern across the grass.

great colours! It's a beautiful place there, I've been there too. a little anecdote: I was standing in front of the gates of balmoral castle, but there were two policemen standing there to 'guard'. The castle wasn't open for visitors, as the royal family was staying there at that moment. But I as a fotographer stood there with my test-D70 and a strap with "Nikon Professional" on it. So this strap took the policemen there attention and asked if a were from the press. I said no, but if I would have said yes I would probably have to leave :).
