taken in tanzania. the male (who is much larger than the female) can be 7ft tall and weigh as much as 2200 lbs. the eland lives in open plains to mountains and semi deserts. they eat leaves, fruit and grasses. their life span is approximately 25 years. thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!
