this little masai child just seemed to be everywhere dancing and smiling. notice the ladies' shoes. they are made from old tires. i know that the child is centered in the frame but i wanted to include the lady on the right with the toe ring. this little child is 2. he was shy with me but was soooooooo adorable. thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

Think whether the child is centered in this image or not, isn't important at all. Important to me is that your Massaii series shows us in a very good way a part of an unknown and far away culture. Very interesting post Jen. Thanks for this wonderful series.

Everyone wears beads there. They must make lots of jewelry in their free time. I guess they have some pretty talented shoe makers there too. Seems like a waste not, want not kind of living. I love it. The child looks very petite. He's also quite happy. Wonderful shot, Jen. Keep 'em coming. These are so interesting.

he is so cute, like everyone else im enjoying seeing all this stuff from a far away place, how lucky you were to go there! the tyre shoes are interesting... seems like a good idea to make something out of nothing, also the beads are interesting, i wonder if the ones of the same pattern are a tribal thing?
