near cave creek arizona. the suspension bridge is for pedestrians and sheep only. the rust on the bridge makes it so red. in the dry season a car could probably venture out and cross the river in a 4 wheel drive. however, right now the verde is a deep and fast moving river. sheepmen use the bridge to move their flocks from low pasture to high and back again according to the season. it was gorgeous. the ride there was long and rocky but well worth it. i was amazed to see this. again, in the background are the mazatzal mtns. and what is known as the mazatzal wilderness. thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

Great perspective ... I feel as if I'm walking on this suspension bridge. I like the light / shadow play as well as the lines leading to those gorgeous red rocks in the background. Excellent capture Jen.

Lovely image. danika pretty much says it all. Curious as to what the structure is to the right of the bridge tower, behind the rocks.

Beautiful scene Jen..But our rough northern sheep don't need bridges. They'd even take on one of Pats Gators whilst crossing the wide Missouri..Rx.

A suspension bridge for sheep! What a great idea. Seems a shame to leave that spectacular view to them though... Great colour on this Jeenie, and I can only dream of that landscape. A beauty.

What a great perspective, Jen! This is really vibrant and I feel like I am on the bridge already. I looked this place up and found that it has over 200,000 acres. Must be a fantastic area to visit.
