i thought this view was spectacular but felt that the way i first uploaded it lacked a serious something although i couldn't quite figure out what. so, i asked someone i really trust (should i mention your name?) and he suggested a crop of the grass at the bottom. it's amazing i couldn't see it. i think that this shows the purpose of the photograph so much better. thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

Wow! A nice place to walk. Wonderful cloudy sky, but a little grainy IMO. Nicely done!

Jen, to me your previous version was a very good one and therefore I commented on it in a very postive way. To determine what kind of serious lack the previous version had (as you suppose), I've tried to compare them, but saw that it was already deleted, and that's to a certain extend a pity to me.
Like to say however that I like this modified version very much as well.
Regards, Cornelius.

The comp looks just great to me with so much to take in and enjoy.Maybe some fine tuning of the color would improve things. So nice!

I too would have liked the other to compare Jen. I feel they were both nice photos. This one does get you immediately on the beach which is a good thing. Again the view is super.

I caught myself sitting for the longest time just gazing at this photo and it is one that can stir the imagination. This would be a beautiful backdrop for a movie. Who knows, maybe it has been. About midlevel on the left side I see what appears to be steps. It makes me wonder where they lead.
All in all, a very interesting capture.

I also wanted to compare the two images. I also liked the first one but alas, it was deleted. Not sure the first image had the slight graininess to it. The small rocks on the beach tend to offset the grainy look. Still a very good dramatic image.

A beautiful & peaceful scene you captured Jen. I'm enjoying the colors, especially the contrast between sand, water, & sky. The sky is a tad grainy, but the perspective & depth you captured in this scene is wonderful. Very well done.
