i felt that the first two photos in this series were too dark and too saturated. this one is untouched as far as the color is concerned. i did desaturate a little of the close up red as i thought everyone would think i faked the true red color. this shot was taken at midday which is not the ideal time to photograph the canyon (or anything else). thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

Jen, I thought the lighting to be just fine in the first two posts ... not too dark at all on my monitor. A beautiful scene of the canyon. The detail in the snowing foreground is wonderful. I'm not too sure about the bluish cast on the shadows of the rock in the background though it looks like was a bright sunny afternoon. I may have toned down (adjusted) the shadows just a tiny bit. Other than that, it a beautiful scene showing how grand this canyon is ... whatever the time of year it is. Thanks for sharing.

Jen - I don't think I could tire of seeing photos of the Grand Canyon. You have captured both the depth and scope of the canyon in this shot. Very well done! Thad
