I love the way the tessellated rock floor in the foreground leads in a wedge shape to that one pillar, great comp using what nature gave you to work with.

Very nice and interesting,Jen.
It looks like it something from an ancient settlement, and something else I have missed.

Nice composition and a lovely view of the landscape. I like the textured surface of the rocks and patterns in them.

Jen - Thanks for dispelling the myth we non-Arizonians held about rock colors in the state! lol What unusual rock textures in this shot - reminding me of the wrinkly skin of a large elephant. Very good comp with the rocks being the focus. Thad

It really does look very alien (to me) It is a most spectacular scene and you have captured it well with your usual expertise Jen.
Also, it makes a very very nice desktop !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This reminds me of something I would see from an alien sci-if movie. A great shot.

Looks like a tiled floor which, of course, it is. Amazing structures God left for all in the desert. Beautifully composed landscape my teen friend.

That is probably the most fascinating bunch of rocks I've ever seen. They have quite an unusual look. You caught a beautiful scene here.
