At first I thought this was a stilt with a tan head. It seemed to be a good idea to check the bird book before uploading it. Its length is about 18 inches and its wingspan is about 31 inches. It weighs about 11 ounces. It has an upturned bill which, along with its head, is usually pointed down. It hangs out in shallow waters. Thanks for any comments. ENJOY!

The reflections of the birds work very well with the photo. Good shot my friend.

At first I thought they were riding turtles and racing WC. A bird that I have never seen. They look very well balanced with their reflections. A truly enjoyable post.

Nice looking bird, we have some similar in Holland, which are hard to capture. Anywhere with a mile and they are gone!

If you can't find the words, you may as well shoot it...
