One of the many viewpoints on this huge lake. The (Colorado River ) lake is held back by the Glen Canyon Dam. On the other side of the dam are Marble Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Thanks for any comments. ENJOY!

Another nice vista, Jen. I'd love to explore some of the side canyons.
The statistics on Lake Powell are mind boggling. The Glen Canyon Dam backed up the Colorado river for 189 miles to create Lake Powell, took 17 years to reach it's high water mark, and Lake Powell is second only to Lake Mead as the largest man made reservoir in the U.S.A.
Every inch of it is photogenic.
