I took this out in the desert here in Phoenix, this morning. I was using a 70-200 lens. There is cactus under the bird but I wanted him to be the star. Thanks,in advance, for any comments. ENJOY!

The doves don't stay still very long WC. You must be quick on the trigger. The cactus makes a great perch for him.

I visited Arizona in 1986 and loved the landscape, so different to my own country. Thanks for bringing back those memories

Beautiful and unusual, Jen. Such a lovely plant and the bird has such nice eyes with that circle of blue. Great capture.

To me you've succeeded in doing this, Jen. Wonderful capture.

Ooooooooh, I like it. Sharp eye of the bird is great. Flowers on the cactus are well captured. Perhaps a little bit much in blue space on the right.

Dear Jen,
People see only what they want to see.
What I saw was the fried eggs [which I love] that some bird was going to have !!!!!!
I protest [I know - in vain ...] LOL
Seriously - a very tasty picture [glutton will always remain a glutton LOL]

This is lovely. The blue sky is a lovely contrast to the white flowers.

I am surprised they would even want to try to land on that cactus...a unique and well taken shot...thanks for sharing.

In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art. ~Rumi~
