At first.. thought about a crop, that would segregate the dominant plant and just one side of the background area (or other variety of plant).
Think this works just.. fine. :o)
As it is quite a visually interesting division as presented to us, with the inclusion (and variations) of the two background plants.
Caveats?
Given the quality of the photo, perhaps.. some sharpening could be applied? (Might heighten the appearance of the plant's textures is the thought here.)
That said..
Nicely exposed, with good good clarity and focus.
And best of luck if you decide to enter your image here in the current contest. More than fitting, methinks.
Have the same opinion about putting this image in the 'I love green' contests. Would be a perfect entry. If you decide to do so: Good Luck with it, Jen. Regards, Cornelius.

A pretty plant for sure. I think those are caladium on the right, but I don't know what the main plant is. Nice combination of greens and textures here.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
